Returns Our delivered chocolate roses are sensitive to heat, freezing and temperature swings. Ship chocolate roses to an address that someone will be available to receive. We recommend shipping to commercial addresses where possible so that the chocolate roses are not left outside. Sales of delivered chocolate roses are final - no refunds, exchanges or returns. Special Handling We take special care in the packaging and delivery of your milk chocolate roses. Our chocolate roses are packaged in such a way that they will not bump up against the box or each other during shipping. In addition, our chocolate roses are wrapped in a special, heavy weight, Italian foil which preserves the rose shape of the chocolate in the event the chocolate softens due to exposure to heat. In order to minimize the chocolate roses' exposure to heat, from May 15 to September 15 we recommend shipping via USPS Express Mail. For chocolate roses delivered to warm weather destinations (and during the Summer months) we ship orders on Monday through Friday only to prevent chocolate roses from sitting on a truck over a weekend. With every summer delivery of chocolate roses, we enclose the following instructions taped on the outside of the box: "We hope you enjoy your milk chocolate roses! It is possible that chocolate roses delivered in warm weather have softened a bit. Please leave the chocolate roses undisturbed in the box until they have had a chance to come to room temperature. To speed up this process we suggest that you put the box in the refrigerator for ten minutes (no longer), then remove the box from the refrigerator and leave it undisturbed for a couple of hours (out of direct sunlight) until the chocolate roses have come to room temperature (75? F or lower). Enjoy!" How to Store Your Chocolate Roses Keep your chocolate roses in a cool place away from direct sunlight or heat source. When you receive your chocolate roses, if they seems a little warm put the chocolate roses in the refrigerator for ten minutes to firm up and leave them undisturbed for a couple of hours until they have come to room temperature. The chocolate roses should last a few months if stored properly.  Order up to a few months in advance if you'd like. To store for a few months, keep the chocolate roses in the original packaging and put in a plastic bag to keep from getting stale. Never refrigerate chocolate roses (for more than ten minutes) or freeze as they can get sticky and/or crack when thawing. Do not leave chocolate roses near a window or in direct sun even if it is cool outside.
